Sahpe Releases
"Sahpe" is basically the start of my surname, and as I was known to most people by this nickname anyway, I've kept it as my main alias. Under Sahpe come most house, tech house, and techno releases, and most other musical experimentations that don't particularly fall under the genres covered by the other two aliases.
There have been a few attempts to work with Tokkoi, be it on remixes or collaborations, and none have been released yet, so the dancefloor-oriented "Shanghai" was sneakily squeezed into Tokkoi's first album on Baroque Records!
The album reached #1 on Beatport's Chill Out charts! And the natural consequence was a CD release as well! Find the album on all good digital stores, some of the biggest shops in Greece, and some in Europe as well!
Many of the collaborators on this album were interviewed as part of the promo work, so here's my bit :)

We bring back label head Sound Gypsy on the first release of our second year with a disco/soul tip and a hint of techno. The original of "Why Did I Leave You" was made a year back and to freshen things up, Harsh has made a dark version which incorporates entirely different drums and focuses around a deep synth stab lead. On remix duties, Planet Jumper provide a deeper than usual mid tempo funk fuelled house version; Michael Sachpekidis (aka Sahpe & mikaelantony) creates a deep house and electro version while Ash Reynolds provides a nu disco jam. "For our 4th instalment, we are pleased to introduce multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Sahpe on our young imprint. He goes head to head with Sound Gypsy on this release. Camel Funk is all about sliced and diced vocals in combination with a groovy bass line. Sahpe reinterprets the track with a 90s approach blending electro and tribal creating an entirely new track in the process. On Broken, Sahpe maintains the electro pop approach while combining that with beautiful synth melodies and his own Depeche Mode influenced vocals. On the remix, Sound Gypsy strips down the original and creates a deep and mellow chillwave influenced house version."

Anauel created a stunning track with Mirika in "Hold Tight", and Sahpe was tasked with a remix. The fruit of that labour was unexpectedly quite club-oriented and leaning slightly towards Nu Disco!
